For commercial landlords: New Lease - Revised Lease - Lease Amendment / Alteration - Lease Assignment / Transfer - Subleasing - Lease Renewal |

REVISE & UPDATE THE LEASE AGREEMENT Commercial leases are becoming increasingly stringent and more particular in their efforts to reduce the number of loop holes that might be available to tenants. Whether it is a matter of finding ways to escape the contractual obligations of the lease agreement or reduce the total amount of rent payable, commercial tenants are constantly seeking to discern the means by which they might reduce or avoid their legal obligations. As such, it remains important for commercial landlords to be working in concert with experienced legal counsel in revising and updating their template lease agreements. For whereas 10 years ago a landlord's form of lease agreement may have been on the cutting edge of that eras contracts, over the past few years the wording has become far more sophisticated and the coverage of expenses has become more effective. In light of these changes, it makes sense to have your existing contracts reviewed, so as to determine the value of it being updated so as to be consistent with industry standards for commercial lease agreements. At Neufeld Legal P.C., our legal practice includes extensive work in the areas of negotiating, reviewing and drafting lease agreements, including the updating of commercial leases to bring them in line with industry standards as sought by corporate landlords.
